Welcome to Evergreen, an evening for neighbors to gather in celebration and support of Germantown parks and recreation. Enjoy drinks, light bites, a silent “green” auction and a Bard jazz duo as you mingle with friends and learn more about the future of our parks. Individual tickets and Park Booth tickets available. Festive attire.

Organized by the Germantown Park Commission for the Germantown Recreation Committee

Join us every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Palatine Park Courts for open community basketball. We begin each session with a 15-minute guided stretch led by Jai, then move into open shooting, pick-up games, and community play. This weekly gathering is offered in collaboration with Jai Yoga Shala @jaiyogashala and the GTown Recreation Committee. Come move, stretch, play, and connect with your neighbors. Bring water, bring good energy, and we’ll see you on the courts!

The Germantown Park Commission invites thrill-seekers to climb aboard our tractor-drawn wagon to experience a trail of eerie lights, spooky scenes, spine-chilling stories — plus a good jump scare or two (or five!). 

Each 30-minute journey is led by a rascally MC and takes riders past a dozen creepy scenes filled with costumed actors. The 2025 Haunted Hayrides featured a gang of Victorian girls playing sinister schoolyard games and a rip-roaring surprise from the sky!

The evening also includes:

• NEW this year: A Haunted House! One visit included with your Hayride ticket; Haunted House tickets may be purchased separately for $5 at the door. 
• NEW this year: Free seasonal activities for all ages in the Activity Center, including face painting and coloring station.
• Free ten-minute wagon rides with the Larch Hill Farm Belgian Horses — as availability allows between 5 – 7 pm. (not included with $10 ticket)
• Food Trucks (for additional purchase)

Please note:

• Tickets for each time slot are available through advance sales and at the door. 
• We are unable to reserve specific seats on the wagon.
• This is a volunteer-run experience funded by donations and sponsorships. We welcome your suggestions and contributions!

Your ticket purchase helps us grow this community tradition! We use every penny to support volunteers, make costumes and sets, offer free activities, and maintain equipment so we can keep building a haunt that everyone can enjoy year after year.
